Planning approved: Renshaw Street Hotel

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone with the successful approval of planning for the conversion of an existing commercial space into a 20-bedroom hotel. The decision to approve our proposal enables us to take a once underutilized structure and transform it into a vibrant and welcoming dwelling for both travellers and locals alike. This project, nestled in the heart of the city, within part of the historic ‘Rapid Warehouse’ aims to capture the unique essence of its surroundings. The hotel design respects and reflects the local architecture retaining all of the retail frontage as it currently stands. With a careful and considerate approach, we've incorporated elements that ensure this new hotel is part of the urban fabric, supplementing the existing aesthetics and vibrance of the neighborhood.

Looking Ahead…

With planning permission secured, the path has been paved for an exciting phase of development. We are now eagerly moving toward the construction stage, where the carefully crafted design will come to life. We extend our gratitude to our clients and the local council for recognising the potential of this project. The approval is not only a win for our team at Octo Architects but also a celebration of progress and growth for the community.
